It was almost lunch time and they have a buffet option at that time but instead I ordered something from the regular menu. The waitress was friendly and took the time to talk to me about the menu. She was very knowledgeable. The portions are huge, so huge that my food was falling from the large size plate. It was really hard to eat the mountain of food from that plate, I think they need bigger plates. The food came very quickly after ordering and it was like any other small town Chinese food, not bad neither outstanding, just average. I like the treatment I received at this place and just for that I must probably go back.
Food is always hot and delicious. Eat in or take out - best I've found! The waitstaff have always been cheerful and helpful. The "ambiance" is traditional Chinese restaurant. The fishtanks at the entrance has been known to entrance many a youngster waiting for a table, or having eaten and getting a little rowdy. The Tea Palace has the BEST chicken, pork (or what you like) that I've tasted! The servings are big enough to share between 2 ... It is closed on Mondays (sigh...).
